A public hearing to gather input on proposed revisions to the 2008-2010 Connecticut State Plan of Independent Living will be held on June 2, 2008 at New Park Office and Conference Center, 151 New Park Avenue Hartford, CT. This meeting will be held in the Hartford Room. People with disabilities, service providers and the general public are invited to participate. Disability Convention and Expo 2008

Save the Date! The next Disability Convention and Expo will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 10am – 4pm at the Connecticut Expo Center, 265 Reverend Moddy Overpass, Hartford (off I-91, Exit 33).
Meet with elected officials and candidates for office. Visit vendors carrying the latest in adaptive equipment and technology, attend presentations on topics vital to the disability community, such as employment and transportation.
Get information on services available for children and adults with disabilities.
Bring the kids, participate in fun activities for the whole family.

IL Advocacy Leadership Group
